Logo's L/ISO User

    Hello Everybody,

    does anybody know anything about the application L/ISO from Logos.
    That Program allows to create piping isometrics. I know the programm
    "Pipecad". Does anybody know the main differences between them? Has
    anybody used one ore both programms what are the pre's and con's?

    u mean bentley l/iso

    bentley have it in their plant applications

    in l/iso you draw the iso's and then create then model which is always
    recreated.

    In other plant cad you build a model and extract the isos using
    isogen/isodraft and the isos are always recreated afresh.

    The model is the master.

    Depends on work method and size of project. L'iso wouln't work on large
    multi site project.
    AutoPlant, Plantspace, PDMS and then PDS are best for bigger projects.

    There is a bentley viecon newsgroup just for plant...bentley.plant
