Does anyone know if there is a such lisp routine or script that could create
a log file for every drawing that would provide informaton on what user
created the electronic document and who modifyed it last and include dates
and times? Maybe by windows user name. And the log file as a text document
saved into the same folder or its own seperate log file directory as the
    drawing file.
I dont know if this is possible bout it would be a great tool!

    Thanks alot!

  2. Oh... I see you want the data from DWGPROPS.... I think there is a lisp file
already to retrieve that data.... do not remember the name..... maybe
someone else, will jump and help you better.

I know there is a way to do it without installing any other software. Auto
cad has DWGCHECK variable which holds the information Created, Moodified,
Last Saved By, Rev Number, and Total Editing Time. There has to be a way to
export these to a text file or even have them insert automatically into the
drawing model space at set coordinants.
