    Hi.
I'd like to know if is possible to lock a layer and deny users to unlock
    it.
Does anybody know how to do it or just if it's possible ?

    Thanks,

    Ralf Davi.

Yes - A persistent object reactor attached to the layer
would be one technique. Objects could still be added
to or modified on that layer via program operations
unless other reactors were operating also. For high
security, Cadlock would be the best choice.

What is your reason for locking layers in this way?

The intent of the lock mechanism is for the convenience
of the drafter to avoid accidentally modifying objects
    on those layers.

I intend to lock layer 'cuz I'm sending the drawing to a customer and hi
cannot change some layer. He has just one layer, for exemple, to edit.

CADlock AFAIK would be the only sure way unless you
give your client an image of your work rather than the work
    itself.
