LMAN / Layer States Replacement

    Since Layer Manager is part of Express Tools and subject to be or not be....
    and since Layer States don't work with viewport visibility (vplayer) does
    anyone have suggestions/code for a replacement? Specifically, something that
    would save and restore vplayer settings in a viewport.

    We do.

    Group Layer Control 3.0

    Wrote it back in 92 or 93 for R12.

    I'll have to check if we can upgrade it to 2000+.

    Use scripts.
    Just id the viewport to step through each one as needed.

    Eg:

    tilemode
    0
    pspace
    mspace
    cvport
    1 - or whatever the viewport number is
    do stuff here

    cvport
    2
    etc
    etc.
