LM not releasing Licenses

Sorry about the cross post but this appears to be the correct news group:

We are using a Cisco VPN to connect to a branch office.

They are able to get licenses fine but at least for LDD the license manager
is unable to release the license correctly. This may only be happening for
vertical products (LDD). To get the license to release requires a reboot of
the server.

Any Suggestions?

I would prefer to not have them borrwing license at the start of each day
but this may be the only solution.

LM is running on an Windows 2000 machine but we will be moving it to a small
business server 2003 machine shortly.

What does the FLEXlm log file says? Is anything logged when someone exits
LDD?

I will have to get back to you. I went ahead and swtiched to the 2003
server yesterday and haven't had any remote users log in since then.
