Does anyone know a way to link the Bend Deduction value to a given
field in the title block. My boss wants to check values with the Brake
    Operator.

    Thanks in Advance,

    MikeyG,

The only way I have done this in the past is to use a macro feature to
pull this information and then place it into a custom property.

At the company I work for, we used to print out the excel sheet used,
showing the bend development, and this would go with the drawing to the
shop as a "proof" for the shop in how the layout was developed. It
showed each bend length, the material thickness and bend radius used,
and gave a total developed length. After starting to use SW 6 years
ago, I'd just copy that excel area onto my drawing as the layout proof.

Once the shop came to see that my SW layouts were almost always correct
and could be relied on - because of the nature of 3d - I stopped adding
the excel sheet and just included the bend radius used somewhere on the
    drawing.

Probably a custom property would work the best for adding this info to
    the title block.

Have the brake operator show you what he uses to calculate bend
deduction or bend allowance. Some of the methods are pretty decent,
some are interesting, and some are pretty funny - no basis in our
world. As a former brake press set-up guy, this is an interesting area.
Equally interesting is how they determine the bend radius when
    bottoming or air bending.

    Peace, Diego
