lisp to recenter or select the orbit center?

    Using A2ki and the way the orbit command finds its target is dumb. I know i
    can use the camera command to select the target (center of orbit) but i
    always loose my current view. Any help would be appreciated

    I don't know if this is what you mean, but try "3dorbitctr"
    command. I think it is kind of a secret command in autocad.
    Picked it up at a seminar.

    Yeah, that's what I mean, but that command came with 2002, I'm using 2000i.
