    AutoCAD 2000-

I have a weird problem, and it happens many times each
day. I have both standard lisp routines and custom ones
that I autoload with startup suite.

While either working in a single drawing or skipping from
file to file, I'll call up a command for a lisp routine,
any lisp routine, and the command line returns the name of
the command, but will not run the program. Once it does that,
no lisp routines will run at all, even if I reload the lisp
file. All I can do is exit AutoCAD and reopen it, and then everthing is
fine again. I cannot find any pattern for this behavior,
and it is very frustrating to have to keep closing my sessions,
especially when I have multiple drawings open.

    Anyone know of a solution?

    Helllllp!!!

    Hi

You are sure no ARX are unloaded?

I have not done that manually. I have not tried reloading
ARX apps to restore lisp recognition. I do notice that in my
loaded/Unloaded dialoug box, many apps in the "loaded" window
appear greyed out. When the problem repeats itself, I will
try reloading all applications from that box to see if that
    restores lispo functionality.

    I'll get back. Thanks.

Well, I tried that, and it had no effect.

Try removing one of the suspect routines from the startup suite and adding
it to the end of the acaddoc.lsp file instead. Just copy and paste it.
    Start AutoCad. See what happens.
