Lisp Protection

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by craigboddington, Jan 21, 2004.

  1. I wish to protect my lisp routines which i have developed for the firm i'm working for. Unfortunately, they are running a third party add-on with autoCAD LT which does not support either FAS or VLX.

    Any suggestions?

The old Kelvinator (KELV.EXE) routine adds a bit of protection -- at least
it makes the routines more difficult to read/edit in a text editor. You
should still be able to find it on the Web with a Google search.

Does the old protect.exe program still work? If it's compatible with LT that
would be another layer of protection.

    yeah...
Everyone should have the thousands of dollars floating around to upgrade
from using AcadLT ($659 + $200 for 3rd party LISP Interpreter) to AutoCAD
    2K4 ($3,200) PER SEAT!!!

(Although we're finally looking at upgrading from 2Ki to 2K4!!!)
What are the major differences & advantages?
