Linking a List to a Drawing Object

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Sunburned Surveyor, Oct 26, 2004.

  1. I have a list named LINEINFO that I would like to link to a line in a drawing. I want to then ren a LISP routine that can access the data in the LIST, when the user selects the line in the drawing screen. Do you know how I would established this link between Lists of data and drawing objects?

    Thanks for any information,

  2. Sorry, I meant "run" a LISP routine, not "ren".

Sounds like xdata would do the trick
or an extension dictionary and xrecords
try a google search and you'll find tons of info on both methods
