I have 2 solid bodies in a part. I would like to put a note on the
print the shows the volume of the 2nd solid body only. how do I do
this? I would assume I need to make that a custom property so I can
link it on the print. But I don't know how to get the custon prop of
the 2nd body. If I add a prop called "volume" I can link it to the
volume of the part in the "link to value" pull down. But I don't know
how to get only the volume of the 2nd solid body.
    Any ideas?

    thanks

  2. Can you have another config with the other body suppressed & then pull your
    value from that config?

  3. Just a simple question: why don't you use an assembly and two parts?

    Just my two cent.

what I am doing is designing clamshell packages & the second body is
an extrude to fill the cavity of the package to check the volume of
the cavity. So I can't supress the 1st body to make a configuration
because the 2nd body is made from the 1st.

    thanks

  5. Just a thought (not tried) - can you create a config without the "fill" and
then subtract that from the total?

  6. However, you can use the "Delete Body" feature to delete the 1st body after
the second is created. I use this for electrodes among other things.
