    I am trying to create a line type that will look like this: / / / / / / / /
    / / / / / /

We will be using it to draw over another line to show that it will be
    removed during demolition.

I am struggling getting it to work right. Can someone help me please?

As I don't get a lot of chances to check this board on a normal basis, If
you could please email me with any help I would really appreciate it. Thank
    you very much.

P.S. We are running ACAD 2004 if it makes any difference.

    thanks

Before reinventing the wheel, check download sites such as:
    BOOKCASE.COM
    FILELIBRARY.COM
    DESIGN-DRAWING.COM
    CADDEPOT.COM
    ARCAT.COM
    CADRESOURCE.COM
    CADALOG.COM

It's possible that someone has already defined a linetype like you're
    looking for.

Unless those deep thinkers at AutoDesk have gotten cute and recoded
the way AutoCad uses line types, they should be the same as earlier
    versions.

AutoCad help files can help you figure out what coding to be used.
You're best bet for getting the line type to work is to find a similar
one in the existing line types and modify it to suit your needs.
