    Hi all,

Just thought id post my recent problem trying to delete some unused layers
in a dwg in AutoCAD 2008.

This particular drawing had some Revit or ADT information in it i believe. I
flattened and exploded all 3D work and proceeded to export * everything to a
new drawing to get rid of the layers that i coudn't delete. In the exported
drawing the line type scaling was completely wacked. I tried many different
things making sure i had got rid of all 3d entities etc nothing worked.

Answer - Loaded up ACAD 2007 and exported the drawing using it instead of
ACAD 2008. The line type scaling was correct. WHY?

I am not familiar with any issues related to linetype on these
versions. But, here are some linetype scale issues that you may not
be familiar with. Some of them may have been set as a default by one
of the flatten routines, or the import/export action, and somehow
    handled differently between versions.

-The linetype scale can be set for each individual line, overriding
    the global ltscale.

-Paperspace has a variable PSLTSCALE. I prefer to set it to 0, so that
when I work in modelspace the ltscale doesn't change.

-Some entities won't show linetypes. 3d faces for example. The
export to an older version may have converted some entities to another
type. For example if a 3d face is flattened, it may stay a 3d face,
but look line a line because its coordinates are colinear. But, if it
is exploded it may convert to several overlapping lines.
