Line Merge with Gradients

    Has anybody tried applying the line merge setting to merge lines with a
    gradient fill?

    I have tried it without any success and I am hoping that someone could let
    me know if it is indeed possible or whether I am wasting my time at the
    moment.

    Sending the gradient hatch to the back doesn't accomplish what you're after?
    After doing this it looks fine here.

    Yep, that seems to be the best way to do it!

    I think the users were looking for an effect that just isn't possible at the
    moment.
