Line Merge problem

    Printing to a Canon GP200/GP215 Postscript from Autocad 2004 & LT. In the
    pc3 file, Merge Control is set to "merge", but I'm still having light lines
    obscuring heavy ones. I tried to change it in the system printer settings,
    but it wouldn't let me save it because the printer name was too long. Only
    the pc3 would let me make changes. Is this a postscript problem, or should I
    be looking somewhere else?
