Late last year I located a few CTB files that I thought were National Cad
    Standard compliant.
When I use them, they all have "line join style" properties set to "miter".
This is causing our fonts to be pointy. (A problem described in many other
    posts).

If these pointy fonts are the fault of the CTB, why is it a standard?
Does the National Cad Standard dictate the "line join style" settings?

The miter option is also set in the "AIA Standard.ctb" that ships with Arch
    desktop 2005.
