    I am running SW 2003, SP03

I have created a part, which is clear plastic so that a LED will show
through it. Looks great when rendered as a part in photoworks release 2,
although i check the box that says 'Keep this light' when i transfer my part
to an assembly the lights don't go with it.

Lights have to be set up in the assembly, they dont transfer over.

    Alex -

Unfortunately, lighting information is only contained within the
particular document (.SLDPRT) and can't be transfered to an assembly.
You'll have to re-create the light in the assembly to get the effect
you are looking for. Note that the 'Keep This Light' option only
controls whether PhotoWorks will automatically remove that light when
you apply a new lighting scheme from the scene editor. If you check
it, when applying a new lighting scheme PhotoWorks will "Keep that
    light" rather than deleting it.
