License Server Not Found

  1. Hello network experts,

    I need help.

I've just installed 2004 license manager on a license server machine. (XP)
No other license servers are on that machine.
I have 2 network cards. One is disabled, the other is a USB network adapter.
The USB network adapter is working properly. I can ping and browse that
    computer.
I have received my license file from Autodesk.

I open LMTOOLS and select "Configuration Using License File", browse to the
    file and open it.

When I click the Stop/Reread tab I get this:
    --------
    Finding License Server
    --------
    License Server Not Found

When I click the Server Status tab and select the "Display Everything"
option and Perform Status Enquiry button I get this:

    --------
    Status
    --------
Flexible License Manager status on Thu 2/26/2004 15:58

    [Detecting lmgrd processes...]
    License server status: @MyServer
License file(s) on MyServer: C:\Program Files\Autodesk Network License
    Manager\License\341-36443503.LIC:

lmgrd is not running: Cannot connect to license server
The server (lmgrd) has not been started yet, or
the wrong port@host or license file is being used, or the
port or hostname in the license file has been changed.
    Server name: MyServer
    License path: @MyServer
    FLEXlm error: -15,570
For further information, refer to the FLEXlm End User Manual,
    available at "www.globetrotter.com".

    Where do I start?
    Thanks
    Mark
