licence borrowing

  1. Hi all,

We use flexlm to manage our network licences.
We use AutoCAD 2004, flexlm v8.3.

When trying to borrow a licence, AutoCAD pops up a box saying:

"There are no licenses available to borrow at his time.
    Contact your system administrator.

    Error [1202.5.-67]"

(That is a bit embarrassing, "system administrator" would be me.)

I use the following options file:

    TIMEOUTALL 300
    BORROW_LOWWATER 42600ACD_2004_0F 25

which seems to be read in by the daemon, as this snippet from the log
    shows:

15:33:30 (lmgrd) Started adskflex (pid 752)
    15:33:30 (adskflex) Using options file:
    "C:\flexlm\License\adskflex.opt"
15:33:30 (adskflex) Server started on licence for:
    42600ACD_2004_0F
15:33:30 (adskflex) ALL FEATURES: INACTIVITY TIMEOUT set to 300
    seconds
    15:33:30 (adskflex) BORROW_LOWWATER 42600ACD_2004_0F 25

    Still, it won't work.

Number of licences is 30, I have tried re-reading the licence file and
    all sorts.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Steffen
