Library Import

I have a problem:

I have to use element from another library for shematics (and not from
sample cadence library). I have to write a script for that. Any ideas
how can I do this?

 

I have no idea what you're asking. To use an "element" from another library, you
simply need to make sure that you have that library referenced in your cds.lib,
and then use the add instance command in the schematic editor. I can't see why
you would need to write a script for that. If you do, you'll need to provide
more details.

However, you didn't say what tool you're using - is it the IC schematic editor
(aka "Composer") or Capture or what?

Remember that vague questions get vague answers, so please make sure you ask
