Leaders printing when they should not

    I have a site plan that is xrefed into sheets. When you print from inside
    the site plan it works perfectly. When you print the xref, it prints all the
    leaders in the drawing, even if the layer is off. It does not print the text
    or the arrow head. This happens on the Plotter, laser and PDF files.
    This only happens in AutoCAD 2004. AutoCAD 2002 prints correctly.
    Has anyone else seen this?

    I am experiancing the same problems with 2004, while FREEZE will cause the leaders not to print, FREEZE IN CURRENT VIEWPORT will not. This is not a workable solution since FREEZE will freeze the layer for the entire drawing and every viewport in every tab.

    If anyone has a workable solution please let me know.
