How do I attach a horizontal line to my diagonal leader. I need to add extra text.
I'm assuming you're in a drawing: Click on the note. In the Property Manager Window under Leader is an option to have a bent leader. This is also a setting under Tools: Options: Document Properties: Detailing: Notes: Leader Style: "Bent"
