I posted this on the autocad 2002 general newsgroup however it hasn't shown
up so I will ask the question again here:

Is there a way to copy a paperspace layout to a word document or
alternatively save a paperspace layout to a jpg?

    Thanks

    Hey there.

You are looking for print screen. most keyboards have a key above the
home key that says "print screen", normally used in conjunction with the alt
key. Shift focus to the layout window you want to capture and perform the
print screen. This creates ans image file (.bmp, I believe) that can be
pasted into most programs. Use an image conversion program to make ot a
    jpeg. Hope this helps.

  4. And I will answer you the exact same way I did in the AutoCAD 2002 group:

Export drawing as JPEG file from AutoCAD® or AutoCAD LT®

This causes my computer to crash. Also tried on a 2.6 Gig machine and then
    crashed too.

    Thanks though.

Doesn't this just copy the file to a jpg rather than just the layout?

    Crude but works sort of.

I tried this before and it kinda worked so I was looking for a more elegant
    solution.
