Layout issue

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by structuralsteel, Jul 20, 2004.

  1. I've got a problem printing a layout that looks great in plot preview on my screen, but when I've plotted on a couple different plotters, everything (border, etc.) is shoved over to the right by at least an inch. I've tried every logical method to remedy the problem, with no luck. Could someone give me any ideas? The plot size is roughly 36 in X 24 in.

  3. Well, it's happened on both an OCE plotter and an HP plotter. It's driving me nuts. I've made sure there are no hidden entities, etc. that throw it off and the whole nine yards. I've got it set to center the plot on the page and, like I said, it looks great in plot preview but won't print out correctly for nothin'.

What are you plotting -- Window, Display, Extents, or what? To Fit, 1:1 or
some other specific scale? Is this with one specific layout in one specific
drawing, or does it happen with many or all of your drawings?
