layer Filters

    Here is my problem. I have created a prototype with only a few layer filters. If i open up a separate drawing, draw a line & copyclip & paste into my original drawing not only does the line come in, but also all of the layer filters from the second drawing. Where are the layer filters stored? How can i keep from inserting all of them?
