Layer conversion routine?

    We have recently changed to STB style plotting as well as adopted AIA layer
    guidelines. I'm looking for a routine to run on all of our standard details
    to update them. Ideally the program would combine all layers of specified
    colors to a designated layer. For instance, our colors 1,2,3,5,6 have the
    same lineweights. Everything with these colors will be put on the layer
    M-Detl-Dark with the appropriate color, linetype, and linewidth. Does
    anyone know of such a routine?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    PS. All details have already been converted to name dependant plot styles.
    So the routine wouldn't need to do this.
