launch apps ?

I tried your suggestions and still no luck....
(startapp "c:/temp/AcroRd32.exe" "c:/temp/temp.pdf")

I am getting a 33 after I run the command
(startapp "c:/temp/AcroRd32.exe" "c:/temp/temp.pdf") 33


It looks like its specific to the reader...because notepad opens without a
problem....

It appears;
Adobe Reader 5 statement works in 2000i does work....
Adobe Reader 6 statement works in 2000i doesn't work....
Adobe Reader 5 statement works in 2004 doesn't work....
Adobe Reader 6 statement works in 2004 doesn't work....

Okay, one more idea...you could add a command alias for acroreader thru
the pgp file - something like:

AREADER, START ACROREADER, 1,*File to edit: ,

Then try typing in AREADER to make sure it works. Assuming it works,
then keep going:

try typing in AREADER C:\TEMP\MY_FILE.PDF
try adding it to your menu

I added it to my PGP file as you said and ran.... AREADER but it didn't
come up....

I guess there must be something on my computer settings that are whacked...
