When I send a TIF image to our KIP 6000 through the Powerprint Request, it
comes out with a newsprint type dithering. I've tried several different
settings with the pens, to no avail.

Dealer is Drexel, if KIP wishes to respond, contact is my email address.

    Dennis,

Thank you for your question. Tiff images do not use pen settings.

However, once you submit a .tif file for printing we can work on certain switches on the KIP 6000 controller to alter dithering patterns for the scanned image to a certain extent. Any work on the KIP controller can be done by a authorized KIP / dealer tech. Please contact your dealer rep explaining this situation.

    thank you
