Hi, I'm a student in engineering drawing. I can remember doing this
once but can' remember. How do I center text in the middle of a
rectangle? I think I clicked on the corners of the rectangle and then
justified the text with "MC", but I cannot seem to duplicate this.
Anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks.

There is a new object snap "midpoint between two endpoints" in R2005.
The old way was to use the CAL command transparently with the MEE
    (Midpoint between two Endpoints) subcommand.

Use this to establish the insertion point for the TEXT or MTEXT entity
and then use the MC justification as you mentioned.
