Just a thinking out loud (MM to inches and back)

    At our office we typically draw in imperial. But on occasion we draw some
    metric objects in the same drawing. Would it be feasible to create a button
    that would select all...scale .03937 then draw in metric...when done press
    the button again to scale back?

    I draw in metric only and set the dims to display both units (Arch for the
    contractor and architects review. Metric for our use (since every machine we
    have is metric.)
    Converting to metric is best route to take in my humble opinion

    I would consider creating a second drawing with measurement set to 1 that
    would be xreffed into the first (imperial) drawing. Otherwise things get
    interesting with hatch pattern scales and linetype scales.
