    Good Morning,

When saving a model in .jpg format the resolution needs to be
increased. Is there a way to do that?

Also, I'm modeling a tube with straight and curved sections. Is there
a way to remove the lines showing the intersections of these various
sections? To better visualize this part I like it as Shaded with
    Edges.

    Thank you for your help.

I think the only way to up the jpeg resolution is to adjust the display
settings. You could save out as tiff with higher resolution and convert it
to jpeg using some other software. I think the MS Picture editor will even
    do this.

Thank you for your quick response.

I want to remove them while viewing the shaded model. Then I need to
    save it as a JPEG.

If you change the shade mode to Shaded and not Shaded with edges you can get
rid of all the edges but I don't know of a way to do this without the
    tangent edges only.

If you truly want full control over your jpeg out put, then you will
need the rendering aspect of SW. You can then render the omage to file
as a jpeg or whatever format you want, and make the resolution what
ever you want it to be.

  6. Have you tried this?

Open a new drawing, chose not to display the sheet format.

Insert your assembly view into this drawing.

Now, "Save As" ".tif" Using this method, you can control the DPI settings.

Then, open this .tif file in Microsoft Paint and save it as a .jpg.
