Is it possible to join two splines into one if they share an endpoint ?

I imported an adobe illustrator and it seams like all the splines have
32 handles. I would like to join them and the simplify them.

I am in the process of migrating to SW2007SP1.0

    Dear Giorgis,

I did this once using FIT SPLINE command and that worked for me in SW
2006 sp 4.0. I feel you can try that one.

You can find this comand in "Tools>Spline Tools>Fit Spline"

I discovered it my self half an hour ago, but you are spot on. Fit
    spline is a great tool.
I actualy used it to trim offset splines as well. You are not allowed
to do that, so I tack on a line at the end of an offset spline. I fit a
tight spline (delete the base) and trim away.

    It great, thanks Deepak

    PS: I now have SW2007SP1.0
