Issues plotting to DJ500 with OLE raster images

  1. Hi all.

We have a small plot service, and we have both a Designjet 500, and a
Designjet 800PS (as part of the multifunction 815MFP).

In the last month we are encountering a problem printing drawings containing
OLE raster images with Autocad LT 2004. Basically, if the drawing is plotted
    in portrait mode,
the raster images are ok. If we plot in landscape mode (using the
"orientation" setting in the plot dialog), the raster is printed with a very
    low resolution.

Up to 1-2 months ago we didn't have this issue. Then, a lot of customers
complained that their plots were not printed as before (they even showed us
some old plots). And this is *really* weird.

In the last months we haven't installed any new application to the plot PC,
apart from XP Service Pack2 plus some other XP patches. At the moment we are
trying to track down if a microsoft patch has screwed up something (maybe
related to OLE), without success for now.

The problem is present with both the 500 and the 800PS(using the HPGL
    drivers).

I saw that Terri Beausejour from Autodesk has replied to users having some
similar problems, but not to this one.

I've put a sample drawing, and the scanned PDF of the output, into a single
zip on a temp website, if someone wants to try it.

You should print the drawing on a A4 (or Letter) sheet, using a scale of 10
units = 1 mm. The pen settings are not important (you can use
    monochrome.ctb, for example).

    Have a nice day
    GV
