I am using SolidWorks 2009 SP2. There is a process running rampant
once I start up SolidWorks and use the program Windows Explorer. This
process sldShellEstServer.exe just sucks up all of my ram while
regenerating only SolidWorks file icons. I need to restart the
computer to get my ram back. Is "sldShellEstServer.exe" a bug or a
    SolidWorks virus?

SolidWorks has confirmed that they have an issue with thumbnails
regenerating while using a computer security program Trusted Desktop.
They suggest calling your local support rep for info on how to change
some reg files. This is a temporary fix until they can isolate the
    problem.
