Is it possible to simulate a fan rotation?

    Greetings:

I download a computer fan 120mm Irwin at 3dcontentcentral. Using the
in-context technic, I modify the fan to make it in two parts (Fan
housing - Stator and Fan hub - Rotor)
    http://home.comcast.net/~wangphk/SolidWorks/Parts/Rotation-Simulation.jpg
.. To simulate the fan rotation, I click on Simulation icon - Rotary
motor - Select the Fan-hub - A red directional arrow shows up - Select
the Green check mark - Nothing happens. Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

    Have a great week-end everyone.

. To simulate the fan rotation, I click on Simulation icon - Rotary

select "calculate simulation" from simulation toolbar

  4. This will only work if there are not mates that would cause it to be static.
(eg. Fixed, or any mate that would cause you to not beable to rotate the
    part manually.)

Thank you all for your help.

After selecting "calculate simulation", I receive this message "The
model started in a colliding position, stop collision has been
disabled" and the rotor/fan start rotating. Under Move/Rotate
component, the option "Free Drag", "collision detection", "All
components", "Stop at collision", "Highlight faces" are checked but
nothing is shown on the model. Also, there isn't any interference
between the rotor and stator. What else could I have been missing
    here?
