    Greetings:

I want to save model sketches create in SW2005 using spline entities
into AutoCAD *.DWG format. I create SW drawing - show standard 3 views
with only the sketches - Save As - DWG format - Options - DXF/DWG
R2000-R2002 ... SW still save the spline entities as a series of broken
line. Is there a way to preserve the spline entities as a smooth
    curves?

Thanks for your time and help.

  2. You might try and export the *.sldprt sketches to the SAT (ACIS, check
which version your acad supports) format using the export sketch
entities option,.. then import the SAT (ACIS) into acad?

Or try to export the *.sldprt sketches to IGES format or STEP format
(using the sketches option) then import them into acad... but, you need
the acad IGES or STEP import license?
