    Hello,

Can anyone give me some leads/links to the best way to make AutoCad drawings
(.dwgs or .dwfs) work with a search engine such as MS index server or
    frontpage extensions?

Scenario...I have a lot of drawings that I would like to make accessible via
the local Intranet. We currently use the old Autodesk WHIP viewer with IE
to view them. We also have many more drawings that are being scanned now
and they are each getting a few unique attributes put on them such as
drawing number, manufacturer, etc. and I would like for my Intranet search
engine (IIS) to be able to search those attributes. Any direction would be
    appreciated.

    Thanks

    Mark

  2. Not quite what you want - If you save the files in Acrobat format instead,
Adobe have a module available for the indexing service that enhances the way
    it deals with Acrobat files.
I've never heard of anything similar for AutoCAD though.
