When deploying an AutoCAD 2004 network installation to a workstation (NT4) with AutoCAD 2002 already installed (network version) the installation stops. In the error log a message is displayed that a certain path can not be found. After some investigation I found out the problem is the existing installation on the network. The new installation tries to use the standard path of AutoCAD 2002 to install or upgrade something. But because the pathname is generated with a double backslash, the installer cannot find the path. Is this a setting in the registry? What can I do to keep AutoCAD 2002 and install AutoCAD 2004 on the same workstation.
