inspection dims

  1. SW2007 sp2.2

    I want to take a detail dwg & automatically add numbers to the dims
    for inspection report purposes. Is this possible?

    There is a new Addin for SolidWorks that does this and more. The
    manufacturer of the software is Extensible CAD Technologies
    (www.extensiblecad.com) and the software is currently sold by TriMech
    Solutions (www.trimechsolutions.com). Feel free to email me if you

    Or perhaps he's looking for something to add something similar to detail
    balloons to dimensions?

    The application I was referring to, InspectionXpert, balloons your
    SolidWorks drawing and exports the dimensions, tolerances, etc.. to an
    Excel spreadsheet for quality inspection purposes. Companies are
    using it for AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI), PPAP and quality
    inspection sheets in general. There is a flash demo on the website:
