Hey guys... I am having some issues of the insertion of a design table
in a drawing... the design table i am wanting to insert is 19 columns
long by 7 rows high... as i type this, i have my screened resolution
maxed out at 1920X1200px just to get it to fit.... I am following the
instructions from the SW help file but the number of columns is killing
me... it is basically saying i have to drag and stretch the table in SW
to fit the content i want to show up in the table that i insert in the
drawing.... i have it working at my current resolution, but when i
change my resolution back and i have to edit the table, it will screw
things up and only show what it can squeeze in there per the
resolution... so, my questions to you guys is, am i doing it right, per
how i described above, or does SW just suck when it comes to the
creation and control of tables? I am at my wits end over here...
<insert mini rant> my VAR isnt 24hrs, at least i cant get a hold of
them as usual, SW corportate doesn't have techies on standby that i can
get a hold of... Its the weekend, yes, i understand that, but if you
have a project due monday at 6:30AM and you have a question or issues,
you are basically hosed...THANK YOU VERY MUCH SOLIDWORKS!!!!! at least
with PTC you could get some kind of help or a live person to talk
to<end of mini rant> i feel better now :) any help you guys can give me
in terms of a work around would be great... thanks for the help...

i will give that a whirl... one other thing i was wondering, how do you
get the table you inserted into the drawing look nice... meaning, there
is one of the lines that runs between the rows, the "invisible" guides
to show you the rows, showing up instead of not... i hope that made
sense... i woulda figured by inserting an excel spreadsheet with
borders turned on that it would show up like it does when you print
it... oh well... thanks... any other thougths, tricks, hard objects to
throw at the screen that make cool sounds?!? :)

Thanks guys for your thoughts and hacks on my issue... more questions
though in regards to these darned tables in drawings... I am working on
a product drawing with 5 part variations that are going to be on a
charted drawing, in metric... My first question is, is it possible to
have some dimensions in the chart show up in english, such as an
english tap size; i.e. #10-32?! Also, can you show a high/low limit of
a dimension in a cell?!? I really want this to work so everything is
tied together and updates accordingly with the part model instead of
just a picture... Any more help you guys can provide would be great....
oh, and its going on 9AM on monday and still no call back from my tech
support in regards to my call on saturday morning...uggggg... thanks
again guys for your hacks and thoughts...
