Sorry if this has been asked before, I cannot find this anywhere in the
documentation - is there a way to have ACAD (14) automatically tag a plotted
or printed drawing with the full Path\filename.dwg of the drawing, maybe
somewhere along the margin of the border or title block?? I know that the
currently open Path/Filename is stored in the variable DWGPREFIX, and I
know that the batch plot utility will do it (I think it's called Plot Stamp)
but what about single prints from within AutoCAD,to an 8-1/2 x 11 HP? Maybe
in later versions than 14? Any help would be appreciated.

    Try DynaText (http://www.archtools.de/dynatext.html). This tools
allows you to define variables by your own, and it has predefined
variables for date, time, login name, path and filename. This
variables can be used in MTEXT entities, and you can define, at which
events the text will be automatically updated.

Create a text entity using date and time and tell it that it should
always update "before plot" - voila - you have a plotstamp. Create a
text entity which uses path and filename (and I would also suggest
login name and date and time), and let it update "before save", and
you have what you asked for.
