inkjet or Laser

I am looking at a new printer for the office to replace an HP812.

I haven't been watching the printer market, so I am trying to catch up.

What is the best choice for speed and clarity of color prints? Is Laser the
best decision?

I have found one that is reasonable, but could spend a little more:

The HP site doesn't even list this one. <shrug>.

Typically we will print B/W "trash", but there are numerous occasions that
it will need to spit out some quality images. And it would be even better
to have 11x17 capabilities.

Any advise? Suggestions? Links?

I'm glad you remember It's been a hectic day...

I use tinyurl, but I read somewhere (one of these ADSK NG's) that some folks
where apprehensive about hitting a site that they couldn't logically
distinguish. I'd prefer to to post tiny's.
