importing dxf into maya, max, blender with strange results

    Hi folks,

    I've been trying to import a dxf file into a number of 3d modeling
    programs, with some strange results. While individual objects appear
    to scale correctly, they are not aligned as they should be. In maya
    and blender the results are consistent, while in 3ds max the objects
    are scattered more randomly:
