import into excel??

    Can anyone tell me how to import a .dwg file into Excel?

    I have a number of drawings i want to add to a spreadsheet

    Add the DWG as what, a picture in Excel?

    If so, one way is to use WMFOUT to create a WMF file, import that into
    Excel.

    You can also experiment with copying the AutoCAD entities to the
    clipboard, then using Paste Special in Excel to create an OLE object in
    Excel
