    Hi

I have a coordinate file I'd like to import in to MicroStation.

The design of the file is:

    GGG123456 XXX.XXX YYY.YYY ZZZ.ZZZ

    Where
GGG123456 is the coordinate point id number and
XXX.XXX is the X coodidinate and
YYY.YYY is the Y coodidinate and
    ZZZ.ZZZ is the Z coodidinate.

How do I import the file? I'd also like to have the point id number as
    an text near the point.

    Regards
    Andreas

    Hi..
I was using long time a mdl file calles CVTPC to do all what you mentioned.
CVTPC is a free MDL program available on the Corps of Engineers
    Topographic Engineering Center's home page:
    http://www.tec.army.mil/index.html

CVTPC will import ASCII xyz data into 3-d .dgn files. It allows you to
place cells, elevations, point numbers, descriptions, etc, at a
    specified scale, level and symbology.

I hpe that is what you need.
