Image files in Autocad

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Andreas Sumper, Jul 28, 2003.

  1. Hi folks!

I want to import a image file to autocad 2002. the image represents a map
and has a geo reference. My question is: Is there a way to scale it? I can
enter the first coordinate, but for the second one there is no way to enter
the values. Whats the best way to put in the coordinates?

    Thank you all!

Measure what it is, then calculate what it is divided by what it should be.
That will give you the distance to scale it.

    Example:

    1/4" = 6"

    ..25/6 = 24

Scale the drawing 24 times bigger.
