I thought & worked for $ in menus...but not??

    I want to make a button to turn off, lets say, a layer called Line$01, so my button does this:
    ^C^C-LAYER;OFF;Line&01;;

    I expected this to work but no luck, any comments?

    wow, the ^M's actually did matter, do it like this:

    ^C^C-layer^Moff^M"Line$01"^M^M
