I'm trying to simulate tubing going through holes in an assembly. I figure
that you create a 3d sketch consisting of points that are constrained to the
center of the holes that the tubing will go through. I then click on the 3d
curve icon expecting to be able to select the 3d sketch that I just made
(that has all the points), but when try to select either the 3d sketch on
the assembly space or on the feature manager, I can't because the sketch is
hidden. So I right click on the 3d sketch in the feature manager to unhide,
but the only relevant option is to hide sketch, witch means that it's not
hidden to begin with. I then tried a different approach (one witch made more
sense). I made individual 3d sketches consisting of a point each, (each
constrained as before). This made more sense to me because when it came time
for sw to ask me for the points that the 3d curve will go through I just
select each 3d sketch, but I tried to select the points through the feature
manager and by selecting them in the work space (with the point filter on),
but I couldn't select the points in the 3d sketches. Any help on this issue
    would be appreciated.

  2. Do you have sketches, etc turned on in the View menu?
