Is anybody here using swx or any add-in to swx for any type of HVAC
(heating - cooling - architectural)? If you are (or aren't) what are
    you using?

    Thanks!

Most people I know doing HVAC work are still using AutoCad, yuk.

Sends a shiver down my spine just thinking about 2d work.

  3. I would check into Revit. It's a lot like SolidWorks for the architectural
community. Unfortunately Revit was bought out by Autodesk a few years ago
so you will still be to deal with their bullsh!t. In typical fashion,
Autodesk found a product better then theirs (architectural desktop) and
rather than develop something on their own they just purchased the company.
If you can't beat them, buy them!

I was wondering how would Inventor compare for HVAC use? I think it does
    sheet metal?
