HTML Help versus "old Winhelp"

  1. Hello,

I'm making online-help (with text and hyperlinked graphics, but without macros, movies, trainig cards, ....); and now I wonder if
there is a "real good" reason to change from "old Winhelp (Microsoft Help Workshop)" to "HTML Help Workshop" ?

After playing around with HTML Help I don't see "incredible advantages" of HTML Help.

  2. Hi Pierre,

We switched to HTML help primarily to make it easier for anyone in our group
to create and edit topics. Also, htm's are easier and more versatile than
winhelp when it comes to graphics files. We found the "HTML Help Workshop"
a bit clumsy and now use the "FAR" compiler
    (http://www.helpware.net/FAR/index.html), at least initially.
